SONG FOR ISRAEL PROPHECY CONFERENCE SUNDAY, AUGUST 21, 2022, 2 - 5 PM

Join us for an afternoon looking at the Scriptures that explain what the last days look like! You will hear from three speakers: Chris Ward, Ruben Aceves and Deby Brown. The event will be located at the Yorba Linda Community Center at 4501 Casa Loma, Yorba Linda, California, in the Multi-Purpose Room. Registration is required as we know we will fill the room to capacity. (Click below to register). There will be a free-will honorarium to cover costs for the event.

DR. CHRIS WARD — "The Great Apostasy and the Salvation of Israel." Chris will share how the current decline of God's church signals the coming of the last days and heralds good news for God's chosen people. Chris is the Teaching Pastor at Friends Church Yorba Linda, California. Prior to coming to Friends, Chris was an Associate Teaching Pastor at Rockharbor Church in Costa Mesa, CA. He is a Southern California native, having attended the University of Southern California for his undergrad and Talbot School of Theology for his M.Div., and Doctor of Ministry program in advanced Biblical Preaching.  Before becoming a full-time pastor, Chris worked in the financial industry for Goldman Sachs. Chris is married to his wife Tanya and they have three children, son Lucas, aged 8, daughter Madison, aged 5, and daughter Mackenzie, aged 4. 

RUBEN ACEVES — “Make it Your Primary Resource and Why”. We'll examine the importance of consistently making the text of the Bible our most important source of information, especially when it comes to prophecy. Ruben leads the Men’s Ministries at Ben David Messianic Congregation. He has been involved with Messianic Congregations and organizations for over 20 years. He has taught biblically-based classes at both Messianic Congregations and Gentile congregations like Calvary Chapel. Ruben has undergraduate and graduate degrees and has used the skills he was trained with to more deeply pursue his personal studies of the Bible. 

DEBY BROWN — “…As in the Days of Noah….” Deby will be tying some of the things you will see in today’s news to Matthew 24. Deby is the Director of Song For Israel, leads tours to Israel, leads two Bible studies each week and partners with Operation Lifeshield, providing bomb shelters to the borders in Israel. She was a Pastor at Friends Church Yorba Linda where she became a Commissioned Pastor. Earlier in life, she was the Director of Women’s Ministries at Calvary Church.
