Wednesday March 12, 2013. 6:00PM Israel time (12:00PM EDT). 

Dozens of rockets have been fired into Southern Israel from the Gaza Strip in the past hour. The terror organisation Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility, however we suspect that coordination with Hamas is evident. Code Red Sirens can be heard now in Sderot, Sha'ar HaNegev and Eshkol. All residents in under attack are ordered to shelters, if available.

Leah and I toured Sderot yesterday, and met with the beautiful and courageous people there. We dined at a wonderful restaurant, and all was quiet. As we have witnessed on many occasions, the security situation in the Middle East can change without notice.
