Breaking News in Israel With Yehuda Glick and Aharon Levarko
The top general of air and ground forces of Iran inside Syria and Palestinian areas like Gaza and West Bank was killed. This puts Israel on very high alert. A probable all-out war with Hezbollah is imminent. Israel is readying themselves for 5,000 missiles a day and two months without electricity. In the north, certain communications have had restrictions put on them already.
Brannon Howse invited Yehuda Glick and Aharon Levarko (our tour guide leader) to his broadcast on Worldview Radio on April 1, 2024.
Yehuda Glick, former member of the Knesset, says Israel was established as the apple of God’s eye. Israel’s mission is to exterminate any infrastructure, foundation of anyone against God that invades their country, The world needs to understand that good needs to overcome evil. We have a responsibility to raise the banner of God to the world. (Yehuda is an American born Jew) who moved to Israel in 1974.) We need to raise the values of life, family, morality.
Glick went on to say that the USA has been Israel’s greatest ally and are grateful for America. Christian evangelism support is a miracle. He invites Christians around the world to unite with Israel in prayer and focus of biblical values. He said that “Zion” is mentioned 154 times in the Bible in reference to the presence of God. The Mountain called Zion has a significance for the entire world. It is to be a house of prayer for all nations (Ps. 96-97, 100). He is calling Christians to pray wherever they are but especially on the mountain. Don’t just come to Israel and visit the Western Wall. Go up the mountain and pray at the house of prayer! Allah is being worshipped there now. We need to return it to be the house of pray for God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
Israel was called back into the land to flourish and to help the nations of the world. Yehuda Glick said, “we have a misison that we are in…to raise the banner of God, the God of Zion, the holy mountain. We need to unite and call upon the nations to bring peace to the world. We need to spread biblical values to all people.”
I have followed Yehuda Glick for years, including his involvement with the Temple Institute. I was so excited to run into him this past September (2023) near the Western Wall during Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). I introduced myself and had a brief conversation with him.
Aharon Levarko (our tour guide in Israel) was also interviewed and said that from the North, Israel is bombarded with about 30-40 rockets per day. Since the attack in Damascus, killing the Iranian general, we know that Hezbollah will be strategizing. The Iranian sheik, ayatollah said, “we will retaliate on the Zionists.” Aharon reminded us that Deuteronomy 28:7 tells us that Israel’s enemies will come against them (Israel) from one direction, but they will flee from them in seven! (Even during this interview, I received several Red Alerts on my phone that Northern Israel was being attacked).
Both Aharon and Yehuda ask that Christians pray that God strikes down the enemies before them. The victory is God’s the world must unite and remember the biblical values about life and family, The world must unite and speak up. Raise the banner of God again. He said that the words of the Bible are like a magnet to pull us towards God. We are asked to unite—both Christians and Jews. Adopt the values of the Bible. Anyone spreading hatred and murder is the enemy. This is the message not just for the Jews but for the nations.
