Coronavirus Update From Israel
As of April 19, 2020, Israel had 13,107 confirmed coronavirus cases according to the Health Ministry. They have 118 patients on ventilators and 145 people in moderate condition. They have experienced 159 fatalities. Of those, 61 were among the elderly which represents 40% of the total fatalities.

Israel is also reporting that 3,247 have recovered from COVID-19.
Similar to the United States, Israel would like to slowly reopen the economy and ease their social distancing restrictions. Prime Minister Netanyahu has set a goal of 30,000 tests per day.
During the recent Passover (8 days), Israel required complete lockdown for everyone. If families gathered to celebrate, they stayed the entire 8 days together.
