Hezbollah Flew Iranian-Designed Drone Into Israeli Airspace
Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Lebanese militant group, Hezbollah, declared this week that his fighters piloted a drone that entered into Israeli airspace by 35 miles last Saturday. He claimed it was an unprecedented achievement in the “history of the resistance." The drone, which was shot down by Israeli forces, had been designed in Iran and assembled by Hezbollah experts in Lebanon. Nasrallah said, “It is our right to send other drones whenever we want. It was not the first time and it will not be the last.”
Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel had “thwarted over the weekend Hezbollah’s attempt” to penetrate its airspace.
