Special Event featuring Archaeologist from Israel, Thomas Winder
“On the Slopes of Mount Hermon — Redemption in Ancient Pottery of Israel”
Friday, February 7th, at 7:00 pm
Yorba Linda Community Center
Rev. Thomas Winder of “The Holy Land Research Institute” will be coming from Majdal Shams (Golan Heights), Israel. His ministry tagline is “At the Crossroads of Archaeology, Evangelism, and Restoration.”
He will be sharing on the topic of “On The Slopes of Mount Hermon” - the story of the Transfiguration and why Jesus chose Mt. Hermon to declare His Deity and build His Church. Learn the “Keys of the Kingdom” on winning the spiritual battles of this world and see the Bible come to life. Thomas Winder lives in Israel, ministering to the Druze people and is restoring the original Church of the Transfiguration in the high village of Majdal Shams on the Slopes of Mount Hermon. He will be bringing some of his archaeology artifacts with him to display.
Prof. Winder is an Archaeologist Missionary with a background in Biblical Archaeology, contracting and broadcasting. He was on the faculty at Trinity SW University, where he taught Hebraic Studies. After years of excavating Tall el Hammam, the City of Sodom, Thomas is now restoring the Christian heritage of the Syrian Druze in Majdal Shams and archaeologically exposing history. If you joined us for the 2019 Israel tour, you may recall meeting Thomas at Caesarea Philippi.
One of the most recent hot topics of discussion are the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6. Thomas has much to share about this!
There is no charge for this event, but we will be taking a free-will honorarium to pay for our guest speaker and the room rental. Registration is not necessary but it does help with our planning. Please click here to register.
Thomas will share a different message on Saturday, February 8th at 10:30 am at Ben David Messianic Jewish Congregation located in the Calvary Chapel facility at 270 East Palais Road, Anaheim, CA 92806.
