Two Rockets Fired Into Israel From Syria
Last night, two rockets were launched at Israel from Syria. One of them struck Mount Hermon in Northern Israel (Golan Heights). Mount Hermon is a popular recreational area for hikers and skiers.
Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or damage.
In response, Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered the Israeli Defence Force to strike several Syrian Armed Forces military targets.
“We are not prepared to tolerate rocket fire at our territory and will respond with great force to any aggression against us,” said PM Netanyahu. “This has consistently been my policy and this is what we will continue to do for Israel’s security."
Iran furnishes the Hamas and Hezbollah terror groups with hundreds of millions of dollars of aid to purchase weapons.
