Two targets in the Gaza Strip were bombed by Israeli aircraft last night, reported by the military. According to Haaretz News, a smuggling tunnel on the border of Egypt in a town called Rafah was destroyed. This tunnel is where militants manufacture weapons. Israel responded with this action because rockets were being fired in southern Israel over the weekend. Palestinian militants fired in excess of 50 rockets and mortar shells over the past few months. So far, no injuries were reported but the mission was successful in destroying this smuggling tunnel!
